I absolutely love the construction and durability of the cooler, but i really dont like replacing the rubber latches every year. My cooler gets used 2-3 times a year for a total of about 10 days. That is the only time my cooler sits outdoors and is exposed to sunshine, otherwise it sits in dry storage. I am here on this website today to purchase 2 more rubber latches today because of failure from some of last years latches.

Durability of these latches are questionable. This is my third set. They crack and break with normal use rather quickly. Cooler itself is great and strong and hold ice EXTREMELY well the latches function great, they just need to be more durable.
