Don’t buy Yeti anymore
Great cooler looks just like the yeti but half the price. Works great. Got it for a riding cooler and has yet to fail. Great design and like it a lot more than my yeti. Great buy for the $$

keeps ice longer than my yeti

As good as the 65
I bought the 65 a while back and wanted a smaller option to carry on my jet ski, so this 25 quart version of the Kenai cooler got the call. Happy to say that it’s just as solid, insulated well, and just as good looking as the 65. As with the 65, all Grizzly accessories for their 20 works – and I got the ice divider for it to help with precooling. Made in USA is a killer selling feature. One thing to know is that with the smaller size, this cooler only has a 1″ tie down pass through, so you’ll likely not be able to get tie-down hooks through the slots – I simply use a lashing strap instead of hook type tie downs when I’m only using one strap. I’ll be getting the 45 soon enough to complete the lineup.

Very good cooler
The latches are both good and questionable. The latches are much easier to fasten but also easier to release. Overall the cooler is a quality product and has good ice retention.
Wyomite –
This cooler is the perfect size and keeps food and drinks cold for a long time! Love the quality also.
Nick Adamek –
As described, prompt delivery, comparable to Yeti with better (!!!) warranty, color variety, and ice retention. Amazing!

Used while in MOAB. Temps were in the low 70s, but the ice stayed for the entire five day trip!

Been looking at a ton of different brands. I came across Kenai, the main go is tht it’s made in the USA. Holds ice so far for 6 days some melt off but not bad at all. Reasonably priced . I’m ordering 2 more of the bigger sizes .

Made in the USA – Just like advertised

Great cooler for the side by side

This is a great cooler, better than the expensive ones. Love that it is manufactured in the Midwest. Arrived very quickly after ordering. Very happy with this cooler.

My toy. Love it…

Good quality, Would buy it again. I use frozen Nalgene bottles to keep food cold, they stayed frozen for three days. I made custom Reflectix inserts, especially one that covers the interior under the lid. Also purchased the freezer divider. It’s worth it.

I wasn’t going to spend a small fortune on a Yeti. This Kenai is fantastic – we also purchased one size up as well. Camping for 4 nights with ice blocks, & everything stayed cold for the entire trip. On this kind of trip, we always had to go to the store to “ice up” on day 3, after 2 nights, in order to get through the full trip. I highly recommend it. Plus, the colors are lovely!

This thing actually over performed on our first camping trip! I followed the manufacturer’s reccomendation of using a mix of dry ice and cube ice, loaded up 12 cans of cold beer, a lb of beef, bacon, eggs, dough ball and, milk, got to the campsite 2 hrs later, opened it up to crack open a beer and everything inside was nearly frozen solid. Stayed that way the whole 2 day trip. Ended up having to pull stuff out and let thaw before consuming. Next time I might back off on the dry ice. The space in the 25 is a little tight for anything more than a day or two. I’d definitely go up a size or two if you want to take camping for multiple days with a family.

Kept food cold but smaller Inside because of good insulation. Love the color too.

I bought the 25 through Kenai with Amazon payment option. The transaction was seamless. The product is of outstanding quality. Kenai customer service is refreshingly easy, excellent, and would make me very interested in buying more of their products. Made in America is a plus for me. Wondering why anyone would spend twice as much for big-name competitor.

I was looking for a smaller cooler that was not soft sided. The little cooler is great for the run to the grocery store. Holds ice for days, Grizzly also sells a divider that you can throw in the freezer when you don’t want to deal with water in the bottom of the cooler.

Lifetime warranty and keeps ice for days in back of my Kia Sorento. These coolers are built as well as any. I doubt it will ever wear out. The latches is what sets these Kenai coolers apart from the others. Simple but great idea and easy to latch. I have bought 3 of these Kenai brand coolers. Gave my son a Kenai 45. I have one as well. I am sold on these coolers. And they are affordable.
Charles Flott –
Good but not as good as it should be for the price. Only holds ice on the boat for about a day and a half
Chad Vancleave –
Will buy another. Well built and keeps ice great.
Mike Lezotte –
Just as good as the expensive ones. Only gripe is that it does not have a place to attach a lock on it.

MADE IN THE USA!!! So far this thing is awesome. I love the built-in handles and the nice large drain valve on the side. For me I really appreciate the fact that the hinge runs the entire way across the back of the cooler. This is my first cooler like this and I wanted it mainly for its durability.
While the latches are not the bear-proof style like on grizzly coolers. They are super easy to open and close. And if I have a bear problem then I’m gonna want him to get in the cooler and be distracted long enough for me to get the heck out of there.
As far as keeping things cold it’s awesome. It may not keep things cold for exactly the same amount as some of its competitors. The price and performance cannot be beaten. So what if it only is cold for 6.5 days instead of 7 I’ll probably just use the extra several hundred dollars I saved for a little more ice for that extra few hours if I need it.

It’s better than a Yeti

I opted to get this cooler instead of an RTIC brand. I have been pleased so far. I liked that it was made in Iowa and it arrived to me very quickly (I want to say almost overnight). It keeps everything adequately cold for car trips when I that last several days. It is important to precool it with ice before you put things in it – that makes the coolness last much longer.
