Kenai 25qt cooler by Grizzly coolers.
Well unboxing I was not impressed. The cooler is so light it canāt hold ice long like that. Lid seal is subpar and something I would think to be on a Walmart cooler. 180$ really? This cooler should not be more than 115$ at best. Itās the perfect size and I love the handles. The lid will leak if your are moving cooler and get you soaked. Not something I want inside my truck spilling. I did not like the lid latches either. If your gonna spend that kinda of money buy an Engel or Rctic.

Nice cooler but disappointed with ice life
This cooler is nice and very sturdy. Can sit on it and the color is great. But ice only last about 6-8 hours and then melts. Clearly the insulation isnt as good as I expected. If I would of known that I would of just spent $100 more and gotten a yeti and ice last for days.

Donāt buy Yeti anymore
Great cooler looks just like the yeti but half the price. Works great. Got it for a riding cooler and has yet to fail. Great design and like it a lot more than my yeti. Great buy for the $$

Great Product! Lousy seller Policy
Greetings Amazon buyers, I thought it would be good for all consumers and potential buyers of this product to read what I have experienced here with Grizzly Coolers. Firstly I should say that I always have a great experience with purchases here on Amazon, and especially if purchased items are shipped and sold by Amazon. During the times I have had any problems with any purchases and shipments thu Amazon, they have always made things right. Thank you Amazon. Now regarding Grizzly Coolers, and that is, I will definitley say that I’m a huge beliver in their product, as I have purchased a Kenai 45 cooler in “Sandstone” color (which is an awesome color) in Sep. 2020, and that product is indeed absolutely amazing. It actually met all my expectations as far as a good quality product, it’s solidness, made in USA, and also because of the fact that these coolers do a great job of keeping items cool, or hot/warm for that matter too. This brand of cooler has kept ice in my cooler easily for 3 days or longer, and that is during the hot summer months too I might add. I have never experienced any type of problems with my Kenai cooler as far as leaking, or top lid latches breaking or not holding. So having said all that, this is the primary reason why and without any hessitation, I chose to purchase a Kenai 25. Now during my selection options before adding to my cart, the only colors availavle at that time were the solid colors. I wanted another one in “Sandstone” and since that was not available, I chose “Gray” But while tracking my shipment here on Amazon, I did notice that the Sandstone color was now available, and so I thought about returning this unopened shipment back to Grizzly Coolers, and purchase the color I really wanted again here thru Amazon. I did request a return for this cooler, but Grizzly wanted to charge me a restocking fee of about 20 dollars, not a lot, that’s true, but I strongly believe that Grizzly should at least consider, or offer to their valued customers here on Amazon some leeway on such fees if they simply purchase another cooler thru Amazon, then simply wave that fee when the recieve the unopened package that was shipped back to them. So, with that said these are really nice coolers, just be certain to make your size, or color selections carefully and wisely, or else you may be in a situation where you might be stuck with a color or size you don’t really want. I did keep this gray color Kenai 25, but at the moment, I’m not too thrilled about this situation. I hope my shared experience here helps make you a more well informed consumer, so that your buying decisions will have a much better outcome. Happy shopping folks

As good as the 65
I bought the 65 a while back and wanted a smaller option to carry on my jet ski, so this 25 quart version of the Kenai cooler got the call. Happy to say that it’s just as solid, insulated well, and just as good looking as the 65. As with the 65, all Grizzly accessories for their 20 works – and I got the ice divider for it to help with precooling. Made in USA is a killer selling feature. One thing to know is that with the smaller size, this cooler only has a 1″ tie down pass through, so you’ll likely not be able to get tie-down hooks through the slots – I simply use a lashing strap instead of hook type tie downs when I’m only using one strap. I’ll be getting the 45 soon enough to complete the lineup.

Worthless without a plug
Update: it has now been nearly a month since trying to contact them on two separate occasions about the missing plug for my cooler and I have still not gotten a response. I have since purchased a plug from a different company so I can use it. After actually using it, the lid seal will not prevent water from leaking. I was able to keep ice in it for about three days, but that was in 50-60 degree weather, out of sunlight, and only opening it twice a day to check on it. It seems that there are coolers that are comparable in price but have better performance from other manufacturers. Service and product support is lacking. This cooler looks great. Its a real shame I can’t use a cooler I paid 150 bucks for though. I bought it new and was missing the drain plug upon unboxing. I’ve sent the seller two messages and have not gotten any sort of response back. I was happy to pay a little extra to support a company that makes product here in the USA but I’m a little disappointed in it now. I will update this if I ever get a response, a plug, and an opportunity to actually use the cooler.

Very good cooler
The latches are both good and questionable. The latches are much easier to fasten but also easier to release. Overall the cooler is a quality product and has good ice retention.
Wyomite –
This cooler is the perfect size and keeps food and drinks cold for a long time! Love the quality also.
Nick Adamek –
As described, prompt delivery, comparable to Yeti with better (!!!) warranty, color variety, and ice retention. Amazing!

Used while in MOAB. Temps were in the low 70s, but the ice stayed for the entire five day trip!

Been looking at a ton of different brands. I came across Kenai, the main go is tht it’s made in the USA. Holds ice so far for 6 days some melt off but not bad at all. Reasonably priced . I’m ordering 2 more of the bigger sizes .
Jake Friese –
Made in the USA – Just like advertised

Great cooler for the side by side

This is a great cooler, better than the expensive ones. Love that it is manufactured in the Midwest. Arrived very quickly after ordering. Very happy with this cooler.
Maribel M. –
My toy. Love it…

Good quality, Would buy it again. I use frozen Nalgene bottles to keep food cold, they stayed frozen for three days. I made custom Reflectix inserts, especially one that covers the interior under the lid. Also purchased the freezer divider. Itās worth it.

I wasn’t going to spend a small fortune on a Yeti. This Kenai is fantastic – we also purchased one size up as well. Camping for 4 nights with ice blocks, & everything stayed cold for the entire trip. On this kind of trip, we always had to go to the store to “ice up” on day 3, after 2 nights, in order to get through the full trip. I highly recommend it. Plus, the colors are lovely!
Ian Picco –
This thing actually over performed on our first camping trip! I followed the manufacturer’s reccomendation of using a mix of dry ice and cube ice, loaded up 12 cans of cold beer, a lb of beef, bacon, eggs, dough ball and, milk, got to the campsite 2 hrs later, opened it up to crack open a beer and everything inside was nearly frozen solid. Stayed that way the whole 2 day trip. Ended up having to pull stuff out and let thaw before consuming. Next time I might back off on the dry ice. The space in the 25 is a little tight for anything more than a day or two. I’d definitely go up a size or two if you want to take camping for multiple days with a family.
Lisa Falcon –
Kept food cold but smaller Inside because of good insulation. Love the color too.
Jon V. –
I bought the 25 through Kenai with Amazon payment option. The transaction was seamless. The product is of outstanding quality. Kenai customer service is refreshingly easy, excellent, and would make me very interested in buying more of their products. Made in America is a plus for me. Wondering why anyone would spend twice as much for big-name competitor.
Michael H. –
I was looking for a smaller cooler that was not soft sided. The little cooler is great for the run to the grocery store. Holds ice for days, Grizzly also sells a divider that you can throw in the freezer when you don’t want to deal with water in the bottom of the cooler.
Aimee Hafla –
Lifetime warranty and keeps ice for days in back of my Kia Sorento. These coolers are built as well as any. I doubt it will ever wear out. The latches is what sets these Kenai coolers apart from the others. Simple but great idea and easy to latch. I have bought 3 of these Kenai brand coolers. Gave my son a Kenai 45. I have one as well. I am sold on these coolers. And they are affordable.
Charles Flott –
Good but not as good as it should be for the price. Only holds ice on the boat for about a day and a half
Chad Vancleave –
Will buy another. Well built and keeps ice great.
Mike Lezotte –
Just as good as the expensive ones. Only gripe is that it does not have a place to attach a lock on it.
Captain Murphy –
MADE IN THE USA!!! So far this thing is awesome. I love the built-in handles and the nice large drain valve on the side. For me I really appreciate the fact that the hinge runs the entire way across the back of the cooler. This is my first cooler like this and I wanted it mainly for its durability.
While the latches are not the bear-proof style like on grizzly coolers. They are super easy to open and close. And if I have a bear problem then Iām gonna want him to get in the cooler and be distracted long enough for me to get the heck out of there.
As far as keeping things cold itās awesome. It may not keep things cold for exactly the same amount as some of its competitors. The price and performance cannot be beaten. So what if it only is cold for 6.5 days instead of 7 Iāll probably just use the extra several hundred dollars I saved for a little more ice for that extra few hours if I need it.

Itās better than a Yeti
Brad Clodfelter –
I opted to get this cooler instead of an RTIC brand. I have been pleased so far. I liked that it was made in Iowa and it arrived to me very quickly (I want to say almost overnight). It keeps everything adequately cold for car trips when I that last several days. It is important to precool it with ice before you put things in it – that makes the coolness last much longer.
