Funny I don’t remember him mentioning “moulin’s” like my guide did so often. A moulin is simply a hole in the glacier. It resembles a well-shaft that water enters into from the surface of the ice. Moulins were everywhere on Matanuska Glacier. They gave you a window to peer into the thousands of feet of glassy ice.
